SAO PAULO (BRA, Jan 9): Kenyan Barnabas Kosgei won the 27th Corrida de Reis in Cuiaba after 30:24 at 10km. Compatriot Eunice Kirwa took the women's race.

AUBIERE (FRA, Jan 8): Gabon´s World indoor bronze medalist Ruddy Zang Milama clocked 7.24 seconds at 60m during local meet in Aubiere, France on Saturday.

AMOREBIETA (ESP, Jan 9): Reigning World CC Champion Joseph Ebuya won the 10.7km race at 57th Zornotza CC in 31:27. His Kenyan team-mates followed, Vincent Chepkok second 32:07 ahead of Lucas Rotich (32:08), Mark Kiptoo (32:20), Micah Kogo (32:48) and world junior champion Dennis Masai (33:06).

FUENSALIDA (ESP, Jan 9): World medallist Eritrean Teklemariam Medhin won the 24th Cross del Calzado in Fuensalida in 38:56 at 11.7km. He was followed by Kenyans Hosea Macharinyang (39:05), Matthew Kisorio (39:08) and Kidane Tadese of Eritrea (39:39).

In women´s 8km, Olympic steeplechase medallist Eunice Jepkorir won in 33:43 ahead of South African Lebogang Phalula (34:30) and Moroccan Bouchra Chaabi (34:40).

EGMOND (NED, Jan 9): Ethiopian Ayele Abshero won the 39th half-marathon in Netherlands in 1:02:23 ahead of Kenyan Wilfred Kirwa (1:02:53) and his team-mate Abebe Dinkesa (1:03:10).

In the women category, Ethiopian Abebech Afework (1:12:53) beats Workitu Ayanu (1:12:56) and Kenyan Flomena Chepchirchir (1:13:10). Netherlands Hilda Kibet was the best European as fifth in 1:14:24. Lornah Kiplagat did not finish after 13 km due to her calf problems. Around 10 000 participants were registered.

VALENCIA (ESP, Jan 9): Josphat Kiprono Menjo clocked 27:58 course record at Valencia 10 km road race. Chema Martinez was second in 29:26. Sonia Plaza in 35:45 was the best woman.

NICE (FRA, Jan 9): Kenyan Abraham Kiprotích won the Nice 10 km road race in 29:13. French marathon record holder Christelle Daunay was the best woman in 32:46.
